Hi, I’m Callum, and I’d love the opportunity to serve as your Secretary for VCPE Society.
Over the past two years I’ve gone through two application cycles, securing internships in Restructuring at FTI Consulting, and Financial Advisory at Teneo. Consequently, I’ve experienced first-hand how competitive and overwhelming the process can feel.
What made the biggest difference for me, was having people supporting me throughout, providing honest feedback and sharing their expertise. That’s what I want to build within this society.
My main goal is to support you through every step of your applications and ultimately get you those offers.
I want to focus on three key stages:
- Initial Applications – Thorough CV, cover letter and motivational question reviews, helping you submit competitive applications.
- Online Assessments & Virtual Interviews – Practice sessions and spaces for members to share experiences and advice, helping you pass the biggest filter in the application process.
- Final Interviews – Mock interviews with experienced society members, so you walk into your real ones feeling confident and prepared.
Alongside application support, I aim to help members develop their technical skills through workshops mirroring the real work of VC and PE Analysts. I’m also keen to boost awareness of restructuring, an exciting and underrepresented career path Imperial students would excel in.
Above all, I want the society to be collaborative, welcoming and genuinely focused on helping each individual member succeed.
