Hello everyone! 👋

I'm Claire, a second year biochemist 🧬, and being on Femtech subcommittee has genuinely been one of the best parts of my on-campus life this year!

As many of you will agree, the Femtech community is a perfect blend of motivation. Projects in this space are driven by a lot of heart and vulnerability, but also expertise and the headstrong confidence needed to break convention.

Helping out with events this year has made me realise the sheer amount of co-ordination and communication required to run the large-scale Femtech events and troubleshoot potential issues before they even happen. This buzz and entensive planning is something I am eager to dive into next year and I would love to serve as your secretary 💁‍♀️.

Admin, shooting emails and keeping extensive notes/records up to date are strengths of mine to the point that I've started to find them quite fun 💌, and I can't imagine a better use of my time than helping to facilitate the important and engaging conversations which take place at every Femtech event.

Previous positions in other committees have equipped me with strong skills in outreach, communicating professionally with alumni/founders and improvising when things go wrong... skills I'm super keen to use to help Femtech keep reaching ambitious goals as one of the most well-organised and fastest growing societies at Imperial!
