I'm Angelina and I am excited to be your next FemTech Treasurer!
As the current Secretary for BioSoc, I already know what it is like to run a large successful society, as there are about 500 students in Bio and this year has been really successful with weekly events with high engagement.
I work closely with the Treasurer so I already understand what the roles and responsibilities are. Additionally, I use Excel ALL the time for everything and have an excellent attention to detail so you already know if you vote for me look forward to a year of seamless finance related admin. See the attached document for some of the work I did for BioSoc.
The first Excel screenshot is when I completely independently organising around 100 orders of merch with an external supplier and raised £400 for the society. This shows I am able to deal with large quantities of data and deliver them clearly.
The second Excel screenshot is when I found reasonable food options for our Plant Science Symposium and presented them clearly. This shows my strong written communication skills and my ability to implement budgeting to ensure all society funds are used effectively.
Why FemTech? FemTech Society was the first society that I fell in love with at Imperial, so much so that I made a LinkedIn post about it. I am excited to help sort out all the finances so YOU can enjoy the events!
