FemTech: Chair

Hey everyone! My name's Lucine, and I’m excited to be running for FemTech Co-Chair alongside Asaavari. We’re both incredibly passionate about women’s health, and about pushing innovation and advocacy within this community. We’d love your support in making the 2026–2027 academic year an amazing one for the Imperial FemTech Society.

Asaavari and I joined the society as part of the Events Subcommittee in first year, and we’ve had the privilege of serving as Events Officers together this past year. It’s been a joy to work with so many inspiring people in this space, and we truly believe the society has huge potential to grow and become even stronger.

As Co-Chairs, our vision is to protect and build on what’s already working brilliantly, including the Annual FemTech Conference, Inter-University Networking Fair and FemTech Hackathon, while also exploring new opportunities for growth. For example, we’d love to:

  • create opportunities for FemTech journalism,
  • host open discussion forums on women’s health,
  • and strengthen links between Imperial students and leading FemTech ventures to support professional connections and future opportunities.

We’re genuinely so inspired by this community, and we’d be honoured to be your next Co-Chairs. Most importantly, we want to create a society that actively welcomes new members and centres your feedback and ideas in everything we do.

If you have any thoughts, suggestions or visions for the society, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to hear from you. Our emails are: lucine.strecker24@imperial.ac.uk and asaavari.kaur24@imperial.ac.uk.

Thank you so much for your support! 💛
