Consulting is about structured problem-solving, strategic thinking and delivering impact under pressure but developing those skills requires exposure to firms and access to insight, opportunity and environments that challenge you to grow, which is where the role of External Relations & Operations becomes crucial

Throughout my time at Imperial, the experiences that have shaped me most were not just panels or workshops, but direct exposure to firms themselves. One of the most impactful opportunities I had was attending an office visit to BCG through Women in Business. Walking into a leading consulting firm, engaging with consultants in their own environment and understanding the culture beyond a presentation made consulting feel tangible and achievable. That experience is something I want to replicate and expand within ICCS.

Having experienced how valuable an office visit to a top consulting firm was, I want to build on that model within Consulting Society.

If elected, I will:

• Increase the number of office visits across MBB, boutique firms and strategy arms
• Create structured visit formats with case discussions, Q&A sessions and networking rotations
• Ensure these visits align with application cycles so members gain timely insight

Through my work as an Associate Consultant at Imperial Consulting Group and 180 Degrees Consulting and my role as External Liaison Officer for Imperial FemTech, I have developed both a consulting mindset and have learned that partnerships must be nurtured consistently, which is why I plan to build recurring partnerships and strengthen relationships with both established consultancies and emerging firms.
