Hi, I’m Zara, and I’m running to be your Web Officer for next year!

I’m a very enthusiastic member of TBH and as your aspiring Web Officer, I have a few ideas to ensure our website is being used to its full potential … 💡

Freshers’ Fair can be overwhelming, with so many societies to choose from and so much information to take in. To make TBH stand out, I plan to work closely with our fellow publicity officers to create a consistent and easily identifiable TBH presence across our website and social media pages. A clear brand, alongside our existing FAQs page and volunteers guide, would hopefully be enough to help freshers understand exactly who we are and what we do!

I would also use the website to maximise school visit sign-ups. By publishing visit dates and locations on a specific, website calendar before they are posted on Instagram, volunteers can plan ahead and sign up for visits that fit their schedules. This would help keep TBH accessible and low effort for volunteers, while ensuring school visits are always well staffed.

This year, TBH has been nothing but warm and welcoming (like a teddy bear itself!). School visits have become a lovely way to spend my Wednesday afternoons, and I’d love to give back to the community by helping foster a new generation of TBH Freshers.
