Radiology Society: Chair

I am a second-year medical student with a strong and sustained interest in radiology and medical imaging, drawn to its central role in diagnosis, precision, and innovation. My engagement with the field extends beyond conferences alone. I have undertaken radiology shadowing, explored imaging research independently, and gained early exposure to clinical reasoning within the specialty. In addition, I volunteered and participated at an international radiology conference, where I developed insight into emerging technologies, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the future direction of the field. These experiences have shaped a genuine and well-rounded commitment to radiology.

Alongside this, I have been actively involved in multiple society committees and subcommittees this year, including MedTech, PakSoc, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and ISOC, while also supporting and participating in events across other societies. This breadth of involvement has strengthened my organisational skills and given me insight into what makes societies engaging and sustainable. As Chair, I will focus on delivering high-quality teaching, accessible career guidance, and interactive events that make radiology approachable for students of all years, while leading a structured, collaborative, and forward-thinking committee.

I hope I can count on your vote!
