Lucian Czerny

Hello IC Finance Society,

To briefly introduce myself, I’m Lucian, a Materials Science student with extensive experience in both frontend and backend development. My background includes working full-time as a React developer for a fintech startup, as well as building websites for a technology non-profit and my F1 in Schools team alongside competive infomatics experience.

If elected Head of Webdev, my goal is to create a proper digital presence for IC FinSoc. I plan to build a central website that contains a holistic list of all events and also actively helps members land roles. To achieve this, I will aim to create a main website but also a 'Imperial Tracker' which would be a portal for monitoring finance opportunities both specifically for Imperial students and general university students. This system will have a notification system to ensure members are the first to know the second a new window opens, giving our society a competitive edge in the application cycle.
