Anirudh Vaidison

Hey! I'm Anirudh Vaidison, a first-year mechanical engineering student. My vision for the Imperial Energy Society is to bridge the gap between bold student projects in energy and financial resources they require. I believe that the best experiences that Imperial has to offer are through our societies, be it the learnings you take away or the amazing people you meet. I aim to ensure that the Energy Society is backed by sufficient funding to bring our most ambitious ideas to life.

• Proven Fundraising Success: I co-founded a high-school robotics team and secured over £9,000 in corporate sponsorships. I also raised £1,800 for TEDx events and £1,900 for a non-profit performing arts concert
• Corporate Outreach Experience: I have successfully pitched projects to government officials and global industry leaders, including the Assistant Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai and the wind-energy firm Senvion

• I will target a broader range of sponsors, from traditional energy majors like Shell to emerging startups in carbon capture
• Establishing a tiered based package system that offer sponsors direct access to our Energy Careers Fair or Energy Journal helps in fundraising
