Filip Petreanu

Hi all, I'm Filip, a second year EPS/Geophysics student.

As Events Officer, it will be my job to organise trips and visits over the coming year. With relevant experience, having organised access to MINEX Eurasia, a highly exclusive industry event, to imperial students this year, I believe that I have what it takes to create opportunities for every person in the society. I would discuss with top firms within London (or potentially just outside) for office visits and netwroking events as often as possible, looking for names such as SLB, BP, some top consultanties and financial institutions. We have the priviledge of being at the second best university in the world, in the job capital of europe - lets make the most of it and set you up with your dream job.

As Publicity officer, I will keep up our great social media presence, reaching out with events to more societies within Imperial and organising more inter-university socials. With graphic design experience, posts will be clean and calculated, hoping to grow our social media to 1k followers by the end of the year.

Vote Filip to level up GeophysSoc next year. I am sure I can improve on everyone's great work this year!
