Hi! I’m Alicja Baczmanska, an incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at J.P.Morgan. By voting for me, you support a vision for QTC that strengthens research, builds industry connections, and equips members with practical investing skills to succeed in finance.
My aims:
- Strengthen sponsorship & build closer relationships with alumni, leveraging these connections to secure funding, mentorship opportunities, exclusive events, and stronger industry links.
- Deliver targeted workshops and sector-specific events, including practical model training.
- Expand QTC’s research visibility both within Imperial and externally by launching a dedicated Seeking Alpha account to publish equity research. I would also use the podcast to share insights and broaden reach. If demand is strong, I would reintroduce fortnightly presentations open to all Investment Society members to strengthen commercial awareness and encourage rigorous questioning, helping analysts develop deeper understanding and interview-ready thinking.
- Expand QTC by collaborating with the Algorithmic Trading and VC/PE societies to establish new divisions.
- Increased application support: CV clinics and mock interviews alongside ongoing support and structured practice sessions.
Why you should vote for me:
- Valuation skills: I've completed training with Financial Edge, Wall Street Prep, and in-person sessions with Maithili Aggarwal from Training the Street. Following my internship at J.P. Morgan, I am confident in my ability to help train and support the next cohort of analysts.
- Application experience: I've interviewed with 50+ firms, securing offers at top institutions (J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Evercore...).
- Broad sector exposure: I've gained in person experience in S&T, IBD, Credit Research etc.
