Tej Dodhia-Shah

Hello everyone! My name is Tej, and I’m a second-year Chemistry student.

Through teaching English in Japan last summer and leading my school’s Banking and Finance Society, I’ve seen how embracing diversity and inclusivity not only broadens your perspective but also strengthens the sense of community around you.

Imperial Investment Society has been a cornerstone of my university experience. We’ve hosted exceptional events and achieved incredible internship outcomes. But even strong communities can grow stronger. With your support, I want to build on that momentum and make our society even more inclusive, connected, and supportive.

My Vision:

Stronger Social Balance
Internships matter – but so does enjoying the journey. As your Head of D&I, I’ll increase social events and introduce regular member polls so our activities reflect what you want. More variety. More balance. Something for everyone.

Community Beyond Campus
Our network is powerful. I’ll organise more inter-society collaborations, especially with other London universities, expanding our reach while strengthening our sense of belonging.

Success That Circulates
Our members have achieved fantastic internship success this year. Let’s formalise that advantage. I’ll launch a structured mentoring scheme, pairing successful interns with members aiming for similar paths – ensuring knowledge and opportunity are shared, not siloed.
