Investment: Head of Technology Development

Hi everyone, I’m Korhan Karadere, a 2nd year MEng Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial, and I’m running for Head of Technology Development.

I genuinely enjoy building systems that make things smoother and more professional. This year I was a Project Manager at Imperial Consultancy Society, and in IC FinSoc I served as Head of Marketing and Head of External Speakers — roles where execution, consistency, and member experience really matter.

If elected, I will:

Upgrade the virtual portfolio(s) experience — clearer structure, better visibility, and more consistent updates for members.
Set up clean documentation and simple processes so the tech doesn’t fall apart at handover and next year’s committee can build on it.

My goal is simple: less friction, more engagement and I hope to get your support.
