Ella Davidson
After a year in the role, I’m proud of what we’ve achieved, and I’m ready to do more.
This past year has genuinely been so much fun. Alongside fundraising, I’ve loved getting to know many of you through teaching sessions and recruitment for St John. Also, the process of organising our society hoodies is something I’m especially proud of. Those hoodies turned into a fundraising campaign that brought some real money into St John Ambulance. It was a nice moment where something fun also turned into impact, and that’s exactly the energy I want to keep bringing next year.
If re-elected, I want to build on that momentum: more creative campaigns, more merchandise opportunities (because we can never have too much Cyril), and more ways to make fundraising feel community-driven.
As some of you may not know, I’m also one of the Community Leads for the HFKC St John Ambulance Network, where I help organise outreach/fundraising initiatives across Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington, and Chelsea. Looking ahead, I’d love to strengthen the connection between Imperial and St John further. For example, I want to create more opportunities for ICFAS members to teach first aid to the wider Imperial student body. This would allow more students to learn lifesaving skills, strengthen St John’s relationship with Imperial, and create fundraising opportunities.
I’ve loved being part of the First Aid Society. Whether through teaching, fundraising, or recruitment, ICFAS is such a welcoming community. I’m excited to keep contributing and grow what we’ve already built.
