Hi! I'm Sabirah, a second-year medical student with a strong interest in Emergency and Acute Care. I have experience in event planning and teaching roles, and I hope to apply these skills effectively as EM Lead.

For this role, I aim to develop a structured Emergency Medicine stream within the society, focused on three key areas:

Career and Academic Development: Introducing “Day in the Life” talks, networking events, a termly Research Spotlight across acute specialties, and a pilot mentorship scheme connecting students with trainees in EM, Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.

Structured Teaching: Establishing a long-term revision series on Emergency and Acute Care conditions for exams, alongside targeted CPA and OSCE support sessions centred around acute presentations.

Simulation & Practical Skills: Delivering termly simulation workshops, with potential collaboration with other societies to create immersive acute care scenarios.
