Johanna Torka

Hi everyone! I’m Johanna, and I’m running to be your Education Officer for Water Polo.

I’m a fresher and fairly new to London, having moved here from Hong Kong. I love to play lots of different sports but water polo is definitely my favourite (obviously). Outside of the pool, I like dance, cats, and a good book.

I’m someone who enjoys organising and coordinating events, and helping others learn. As your Education Officer, I’d love to make everyone’s lives a little less stressful by organising the mock exams and tutorials. Having had the recent water polo fresher experience™, I know how confusing and exciting it can be, and I’d love to introduce people to everything when running tutorials and Q&A sessions for freshers about content, ICSM life, and living in London.

What I will bring to sessions: good vibes, organisation, and snacks (see picture below for proof).

I’d love to have this role and the chance to get even more involved with the club!!
