Julia Przybylak
Hi, everyone! I’m Julia, a third-year Maths student who would love to be your Internal/Alumni manager next year! Being a part of Women in Business has truly taught me how invaluable and empowering a strong network can be for career development. I hope to give back by further fostering and expanding the incredible network of support we have in the society.
Participating in the WIB Mentorship Scheme this year, I’ve experienced firsthand the unique guidance and connections it provides, offering clarity and insight throughout the demanding application process. If elected, I would further strengthen the scheme, by focusing on increasing engagement and accountability through mid-term check-ins, and providing structured guidance for new mentors, to ensure every pairing reaches its full potential.
By improving communication, diversifying our network to a wider range of industries and leveraging cross-society relationships, I hope to broaden the impact of WIB initiatives, supporting more students in reaching their career goals through panels, networking opportunities and meaningful internal connections. Having navigated application season myself, successfully landing an internship at Morgan Stanley, I can utilise my insight to shape events that are relevant, timely, and meaningful, whilst prioritising open communication and feedback within the society, to ensure our initiatives reflect the aspirations of all of our members.
This society has given me the opportunity to connect with and learn from so many inspiring and encouraging women. I would love to contribute to building a collaborative community that extends beyond our university years. Thank you for considering me!
