Jain: Treasurer

Money shouldn’t be stressful. Especially not society money.

If I’m Treasurer, my goal is simple: keep Jain Soc financially strong, transparent, and able to run meaningful events — mandir trips, socials, and self-funded sewa initiatives — without the panic of last-minute budgeting.

Here’s how:

  • Clear budgeting: Detailed event budgets with clear breakdowns and realistic revenue projections before committing to spending.
  • Smarter planning: Lock in budgets and payment timelines early for mandir trips, socials, and sewa initiatives, avoiding last-minute price hikes.
  • Financial buffer: Set aside a small reserve from larger events to cover unexpected costs.
  • Value for members: Track cost per attendee, negotiate fair deals, and keep events accessible while maintaining financial stability.

Good finances mean we can plan bigger trips, fund impactful sewa projects, and host socials with confidence — not scrambling to break even. I want Jain Soc to grow sustainably, building stronger continuity each year while supporting our community and values.

I care about organisation, accountability, and transparency. Treasurer isn’t just “handling money” — it’s creating stability behind the scenes so we can shine in everything we do.

Vote for clarity, stability, and events we can confidently fund.
