Serena Corry

Hello, I am Serena, a third year medical student. I am applying for the role of the Students for Global Health Society. I am very interested in policy and how systems can better serve the people they represent as such I have previously undertaken roles in this society as Education Officer and Vice-Chair. This insight into global health has enabled me to think more critically about the process by which policies are devised and enacted. I have greatly enjoyed helping to organise the hackathon and educational sessions for the Global Health BSc and the year two LMAP exam. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to organise interesting and informative events and talks by leading global health clinicians and experts by experience.
