My name is Harry, your vice/co-president this year.

This year in the committee so far has been very fun! I got professionally first-aid trained, became a union-certified mini-bus driver, and joined the management group right above Fellwanderers in the Union to enforce a little bit of favourtism (😳).

Since being promoted from the Dupty Prez of Socials, I have come to be involved in way more trip planning, collaborating with the other capable committee members and involved in just about everything the society has done internally and externally! I take pride in having attended most hikes and socials this society has to offer consistently for the past three years.

Next year, I will focus my efforts on keeping the committee members happy. A busy committee is a happy committee (🤞). All committee members will get to be involved in the hike planning process, and I will try to make all the committee's ambitions come true.

Additionally, I have built an amicable relationship with several societies through my other interests and working in the management group. Perhaps it's the socials pres within me, I'd like seek to increase the number of collaborations we have with other societies, not just trips that involves more than just hiking (perhaps a little climbing or caving? which will make the stinky "Outdoor Soc" redundant) but mainly also socials that is themed on certain hobbies that members get to explore!
