Tom Street

Hello! I'm Tom Street, and I'm running for Year 3 MedEd Coordinator for next year, alongside Kieron.

We are both experienced in Medical Education, having a long history of tutoring both med school applicants and medical students. We are just finishing 3rd year, so we have recent first-hand experience of the academic structure of the year, current support on offer, and the difficulties of adjusting to a new way of revising.

As your MedEd officers, we would endeavour to:

- Improve the provision of personlised feedback for Mock OSCEs.

- Provide thorough clinical skills preparation, with regular drop-in sessions for students in a supportive environment

- Introduce structured webinar teaching on revision tactics early on in the year, to help students find their footing academically.

- Organise a more structured OSCE buddy support system, for those without mentors or who would like extra support.
