Emilia Parzyszek
Hello everyone, my name is Emilia and I would love to be your Endocrinology Co-president next year!
I am a 4th year medical student currently completing my iBSc in Endocrinology, through which I have developed a strong academic interest in the specialty. Alongside this, I serve as course representative for this pathway, giving me valuable experience in representing student perspectives. In this role I have worked closely with faculty, gathered and presented feedback and helped strengthen communication between staff and students; all skills I hope to bring to EndoSoc. I believe I am well suited to this role as I am organised, approachable, proactive and motivated to build opportunities that students genuinely want to engage with.
As Co-president, my priorities would be:
- Expanding networking opportunities - facilitating connections with clinicians and researchers and enabling earlier exposure to research opportunities for students
- Conferences - working with the conference chair to deliver high quality, engaging events
- Teaching - organising a structured teaching series involving case-based discussions, incorporating a wider range of endocrinology themes such as reproductive endocrinology.
Most importantly, I am committed to making the Endocrinology Society a supportive community for students at every stage of med school.
