Data Science: Chair

Right now, Data Science Society is pretty quiet. I want to bring it back properly.

What I’ll focus on:

Projects that actually ship. Small teams working on real coding and data problems for startups. Clear scope, proper timelines, and something tangible at the end.

Access to professors. Informal evenings with professors and PhD students across departments so members can find research ideas, get pointed in the right direction, and hear what’s happening across Imperial.

Connections beyond Imperial. Collaborations with technical universities abroad through joint events and exchanges, so members meet students building similar things in different places.

We can still do talks, but the centre of the society should be building, meeting people, and getting involved.

If you want a Data Science Society that’s active again and actually useful, I’d really appreciate your vote.
