Hi, I'm Lavanya and I would love to be your next Paediatrics Society's publicity officer!

Being part of the Paedritics Academic Subcommittee, I was involved in organising the "Meet the Paediatricians" Event and this experience allowed me to contribute to the planning and promotion of the conference. It gave me valuable first-hand insight into the importance of coordination and organisation for running such events and showed how strong publcity can maximise the conference's attendance and engagement.

Alongside subcommittee involvement, I am also a part of the Paediatric Play Team which has further reinforced my keen interest in paediatrics as a speciality and is something I will always carry forward when representing and promoting the society throughout ICSM and beyond.

In addition, as the current Head of Marketing for Tamil Society, I have developed experience in managing different social media platforms, creating cohesive themed content for the posts and promoting society events effectively to maximise overall engagement.

I would bring these skills to Paediatrics society, as publicity officer, in the upcoming academic year to strengthen our outreach and digital presence while ensuring that the publicity for all our conferences are engaging and professional.

Overall, I look forward to this incredible opportunity to contribute meaningfully in this inspiring community by promoting and encouraging others to explore paediatrics.
