Paediatrics: Publicity Officer

Hi everyone! I’m Harshini, and I’d be thrilled to be your next Paediatrics Society Publicity Officer.

Over the past two years, I’ve loved being part of the Paediatrics Society - attending events, getting involved with Playteam, and seeing firsthand the incredible impact this society has on students and the wider community. These experiences have fueled my passion for paediatrics, and now I want to help share that enthusiasm with everyone at Imperial.

As Publicity Officer, my aims are to:

Ensure every Paediatrics Society opportunity - from talks with clinicians and networking events to the national conference - is communicated clearly and creatively.
Raise awareness of the route into paediatrics and highlight the opportunities available for students at all stages of training.
Provide insight into what a career in paediatrics is really like, through 'day in the life' videos, interviews, and other content.
Support outreach for sixth form students through social media, helping them explore paediatrics and encouraging them to attend the national conference.

Most importantly, I want to help grow and celebrate our community - connecting like-minded students, inspiring interest in paediatrics, and fostering a welcoming environment for everyone. I would love the chance to contribute to this vibrant society, and I’d be honoured to have your support!
