Lena Hamza

Hi everyone! I’m Lena and I would love to be Secretary for Dermatology society. Through teaching we have had and organising a clinical placement for myself in Derm, I have developed a passion for this specialty; this is a field I see myself in. Because of this, I would love to take on an organisation role and enable this society to hold even more events next year, like teaching series and ‘Meet the Dermatologists.’ I possess the qualities necessary to be a good sec, such as being on-the-ball and organised and I have shown this through my roles this year: collaborating to organise an academic conference for Paeds this year, and by being an active member of committee for SIMA (Student Iraqi Medical Association) as charity officer, and contributing to various events. I would love to channel this experience and these skills into being sec for DermSoc.
