Hi, I’m Shivank, and I’m running to be your Treasurer for the Cardiovascular Society.

I have practical experience in financial management from my experience at JP Morgan, where I developed attention to detail and an understanding of financial processes in a professional setting. In addition, I have coordinated recent charity and fundraising events, which involved managing budgets and resources to ensure smooth execution. These experiences have taught me how to handle funds responsibly and support events effectively.

As part of my role as treasurer, I plan to:

• Ensure transparent and organised financial management to support all society activities.

• Maximise resources by securing sponsorships and managing budgets effectively.

• Support members and events by allocating funds thoughtfully and keeping initiatives accessible.
