KY Foo

hi everyone, i'm ky (second-year cs) and i'd like to be publicity officer next year!

currently working on the felix social media and web teams and i'd love to do some publicity stuff for the society. was thinking it would be nice to have a dedicated instagram account for the society and our events, also posts to get to know the editors etc. also to bring more awareness to the print paper! i love having a printed newspaper and i think it would be nice to post more about it, because that's something that makes us special. also i think we might benefit from some posters, especially when we're doing calls for writers, puzzlers or illustrators! it would be cool to have some for the events we run too. also felix merch drops designed by yours truly... all in all i'd love to help run publicity for felix '26'27 and plan to work with the existing social media team to make it happen!

credentials, or something: i did design, branding and marketing for ichack'26, designed and marketing for ensemble creative symposium, posters for wilson house and had a marketing internship last summer. experience w/ aftereffects, premierpro, davinci, canva, figma, photoshop, lightroom, and illustrator

i love felix and would love to help out and get more involved next year (to be fair i am going to do this even if i don't get elected officially, but it won't hurt) can't wait to help the newspaper grow even bigger and better ^_^
