From my experiences on stage as a bassist, even the most perfectly seasoned performances can be ruined by something as seemingly unimportant as audio feedback, an amp not working or even a broken string. I would like to take the responsibility to ensure that the foundation of every great performace is consistent and dependable, from practice to the stage.

I hope to introduce a online booking system for instrument hire directly on the website. This would hopefully set up a clearer schedule of available hire times, encouraging fair and equal access to everyone. I would also ensure regular quality checks and tracking logs on all of our instruments, and set accountability for late returns or mishandled equipment. This will help prevent damages from occuring and potentially generate enough funding to expand or upgrade our instrument selection. Before every gig, I will guarantee regular and thorough testings of working equipment on stage, and make sure that any backups are available in case of any problems that may arise.

Although I have much to learn, I am dedicated, organised, and committed to supporting members with their instruments so that they can focus on performing their best everytime. The LMS gigs that I have performed at this year have been some of my favourite moments at Imperial so far, and so I would love to give back by helping create the same opportunities and experiences for others too.
