Leeona Paulson
Hi, I’m Leeona and I am a candidate for Teaching Coordinator at NeuroSoc. Neuroscience has always fascinated me, and I want to strengthen our society as a space where complex ideas are taught in a clear, engaging, and clinically relevant way.
As Teaching Coordinator, I would introduce structured, high-yield neurology tutorials and a case-based teaching series covering common conditions, using interactive discussions to strengthen clinical reasoning. Practical workshops on neuroexamination and stroke management would build students’ clinical confidence, alongside OSCE-focused sessions and neuroimaging interpretation workshops to enhance diagnostic skills. I would aim to make content accessible and relevant to students from different years.
Through my NeuroSoc subcommittee and other previous leadership experience, I have developed strong organisational and collaborative skills that will allow me to coordinate teaching effectively. I am confident I can create structured, engaging sessions that both support learning and inspire greater interest in neuroscience.
Thank you for your support!
