I am excited to run for Roadshow Officer because I strongly believe that widening participation is essential to creating a more inclusive and representative medical community. The Vision Roadshow provides a unique opportunity to inspire and guide aspiring applicants, and I would be proud to contribute to that impact.

I have extensive experience mentoring and supporting students through external national and international organisations. Through tutoring, application guidance, and interview preparation, I have developed the ability to communicate complex information clearly while creating a supportive and encouraging environment. These experiences have shown me how transformative the right guidance at the right time can be.

If elected, I would focus on:

• Working closely with the Roadshow Chair to ensure sessions are structured, engaging, and tailored to each school’s needs.

• Coordinating volunteers effectively to maintain confident and consistent delivery.

• Developing clear and accessible materials to simplify key aspects of the medical application process.

• Gathering feedback after events to continuously refine and strengthen future roadshows.

Outreach requires both empathy and organisation. With my experience in mentoring and leadership roles across multiple societies, I am confident in my ability to deliver roadshows that are well-coordinated, informative, and genuinely supportive for prospective students.
