We’re Kalista and Sami and we are running to be your Neuro Co-presidents next year!
NeuroSoc represents a wide range of rapidly evolving specialties. With developments like AI transforming the neuro world, the opportunities for growth and innovation are endless. We’re excited to build on NeuroSoc’s existing successes - including MOTM and our conference collaborations with NANSIG - while introducing fresh ideas to take the society even further.
- Networking Events, organised with the sole purpose of giving you the time to talk to professionals in the field, pick their brains and form connections.
2. Restructuring the NeuroSoc calendar to be less congestion at the end of the year, with teaching series tailored to exam crunch time and speaker events earlier on (when we actually have the brain power).
Between us we have:
- 7 conference committee roles - we’ve experienced almost every role in conference planning, logistics, and promotion inside out.
- 16 committee positions - running high-profile events and working across multiple teams.
But also
- Many club nights until closing
- One too many bowling socials
- A car - its importance is HUGELY overlooked until conference day
Our main aim for next year is to produce a series of events for YOU that reflect the exciting horizons that the field of neuro is heading towards, whilst altogether having a good time!
