Hi everyone! I'm Vishrut and I'd be honoured to serve as your Energy Society President.

As President, I'm focused on delivering three key priorities:

1. Flagship Industry Projects with Global Energy Leaders

• I will expand our project portfolio to deliver projects with world-leading energy companies such as Tesla, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, bp, Shell, and many others
• These will be industry-backed projects where you work on real challenges - from grid stability and EV infrastructure to sustainable fuels - alongside professionals shaping the energy transition.

2. Opening the Doors to Energy Careers

• The energy sector is far broader than most students realise. There are roles in areas like energy trading, grid optimisation, battery technology, climate policy, carbon markets, and energy consulting that many students simply never hear about.
• I will establish dedicated Energy Career Fairs and industry panels, bringing in a range of firms and professionals to showcase the breadth of opportunities within the sector.

3. Energy Entrepreneurship & Start-Up Access

• I will strengthen connections with other entrepreneurial societies and build direct links with the Imperial White City Incubator and Scale Space.
• This will open opportunities for students to work with early-stage energy and climate start-ups, gaining hands-on experience and exposure

Over the last year, I've served as Treasurer of the Energy Society, helping manage projects and talks. Notably, I led and delivered the Siemens Energy Project, coordinating hundreds of students across multiple universities.

I'd love the opportunity to build on this momentum and take the society even further.
