The role of Webmaster allows me to work at the intersection of education, organisation and media, and I believe a well-run online presence is central to how ICSM MedEd supports its members.

As a former Publicity Officer for three different societies, I have a strong understanding of how students engage with social media to access content, and the importance of consistent, timely communication. Through these roles, I regularly used software like Canva and Microsoft software to create promotional material and manage content, and I appreciate how good design and organisation can significantly improve engagement. This experience would allow me to further use these skills to maintain a website that is both visually clear and easy to navigate.

I have also held multiple committee roles in the past, including secretary, treasurer, sponsorship officer and liaison officer, allowing me to work well as a team and support other committee members where necessary. Moreover, my background in education, including 7.5 years of tutoring experience, has strengthened my ability to structure information clearly and present resources in a way that is tailored towards students.

Aims:

• Keep the society up to date with events, teaching opportunities and committee information
• Develop a clear, well-organised website for teaching materials and revision content
• Work closely with publicity and academic officers to ensure content is accessible, cohesive and easy to access
