PASS: Vice President (Social Service)

Hi everyone, I’m Kingson, running for SS Vice President for 2026/27. Over the past months in PASS, I’ve experienced how meaningful our community can be — not only through socials and collaborations with other universities, but through the impact we create together. Being part of PASS has been incredibly fulfilling, and I’m eager to step into a larger role to continue contributing with strong social values while shaping an even more vibrant and welcoming experience for next year’s members.

This year, I hope to anchor our direction around a clear SS theme: empowering the underprivileged. We plan to introduce a “Kids for Kids” summer volunteering programme where members can use their knowledge to inspire and support the next generation. Alternatively, we can focus on improving the well-being of older adults through social engagement, such as organising visits to care homes to foster connections and reduce loneliness. Beyond SS initiatives, I aim to strengthen internal engagement by hosting more frequent socials, bonding events, and collaborations with other cultural societies at Imperial to build a more inclusive, tight-knit community. Externally, I hope to deepen partnerships across the London 5U network and other universities through joint events and flagship collaborations. I also plan to enhance career support through alumni sharing sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship programmes. PASS has given me friendships, growth, and purpose, and I’m committed to giving back by building a more engaged, impactful, and connected community. I sincerely hope to earn your support — please vote for me!
