Georgie Kelly

Hi guys, my name is Georgie and I am running to be your chair for the next year. I’ve been crocheting for almost 2 years now, and i’m planning over Summer to start learning to knit. I enjoy making amigurumi projects but this year i’ve tried making some tops too :)

As equipment officer I have shown commitment and organisational skills, showing up to sessions to help teach members and ordering yarn in time for each of our projects.

I plan to ensure we have regular one off events and collaborations with other societies and to make sure we continue to have fun and engaging monthly projects, aswell as having opportunities for new members to come and learn throughout the year. I will also try to ensure we have some socials throughout the year outside of our regular sessions.

Most importantly, I will make sure knitsock remains a chill and relaxing space to come to at the end of the day :)
