Melis Nurluoglu

Hello everyone!

I'm Melis, a second-year Chemical Engineering student. Since first year, Turkish Society has been my little piece of home in London, the people, the food, the late nights, and I'd love to give back by running for Social Secretary.

Imperial life can be intense, and I truly believe having a community where you can switch off, laugh, and just be yourself makes all the difference. That's what this society has given me, and I want to make sure it gives that to everyone.

If elected, I want to:

- Keep the classics going: rakı nights, national holiday celebrations, pub crawls

- Bring some new energy: Turkish movie nights, music evenings, inter-university game nights

- Make every fresher feel at home from day one the way I did

I already love this society, this role would just make it official. I'd love to have your support!
