Ajwa Gul

Hi, my name is Ajwa and Im a second year medical student with a keen interest in General Practice. I find it can be overshadowed by the more traditionally glorified roles of surgeons and hospital consultants; however, it is the first point of contact for many people and therefore both a crucial and deeply impactful role in the healthcare system.

During my research projects outside of university, I’ve had to work with various different spreadsheets and General Practices so I know how to organise and manage information well which is important when dealing with finances.

I would love to be able to get more involved in GP society and as treasurer I would be able to support in the planning and running of as many events as we can by carefully managing the funds and prioritising spending that is most beneficial to all our members.
