Hello, I’m Eileen. I’m running for BioSoc Secretary and here’s why you should vote for me:
- Active and Responsive
I am chronically online (my screentime is so cooked) but that means you can rely on me to respond to your queries fast. I will liaise with relevant parties to ensure events run smoothly and keep you in the loop of upcoming events!
As an active BioSoc member, I enjoyed events like the Kew Gardens trip and the Lab Coat embroidery. As such, I hope to organize more events and I’m open to new ideas that you would like BioSoc to do (maybe terrarium making or Kew Gardens in spring)!
- Experience in Secretariat roles
I was in the Secretary department in my previous school’s Student Council, so I am familiar and comfortable with sending mass emails out to the school, discussing with teachers, organizing sheets and meeting minutes. I am an easygoing team player, and I will set clear goals so we can create a good experience for you!
- Organised and Detail-oriented
My friends know that I am frequently out exploring during the weekends. I love to plan itineraries, so I am very detailed and confident with maintaining accurate records. I am structured in my daily life with my physical planner, calendar and expense tracker, so you can count on me to keep BioSoc organized and well-coordinated!
