Hi everyone! I’m Yuvraj, and I’m running to be your next BioChemSoc Secretary.

This year, I’ve been Social Events Officer for BioChemSoc, Y2 Academic Rep, and an Events Officer for RCSU. Across these roles, I’ve organised events, worked closely with staff and the Union, and handled student communication at different levels. I’ve learned that when organisation is strong behind the scenes, everything else runs better.

As Secretary, I want to make sure BioChemSoc feels structured, transparent, and genuinely helpful to its members.

If elected, I’ll:

• Send consistent, easy to read weekly updates so nothing important gets missed
• Share opportunities, deadlines, and useful academic tips alongside society news
• Run efficient meetings and make key outcomes accessible to members where appropriate
• Keep event planning streamlined with clear documentation so ideas turn into action
• And yes, protect the Meme of the Week legacy

My aim is simple: better communication, smoother planning, and a committee that feels coordinated and reliable.
