Medical Education: Co-Chair

Hello, I am Aayush and I am running to be your MedEd Co-chair!

Over the past two years, I have been actively involved in MedEd - from serving as a CSI Phase 1a Crash Course Lead to being part of the executive committee as Secretary this year. Organising several events such as the CPA Mock and Specialties Spotlight has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to develop my personal skills while gaining valuable insight into the work that goes on behind the scenes to deliver high-quality student-led teaching.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, I aim to address the following:

Continue and expand Specialties Spotlight to further promote early portfolio building and career awareness across all year groups.
Introduce high-yield, exam-focused teaching series - such as sessions on approaching SAQs, a “One Week Before OSCE” crash course, and prescribing skills workshops.
Implement a structured feedback-driven approach to identify under-taught topics and areas of low confidence, delivering targeted teaching to address these gaps.
Increase the availability of mock papers and revision question banks to better support exam preparation.

My experience within MedEd has been fantastic over the past years, and I am committed to ensuring its continued growth and success. Most importantly, I want to ensure that student feedback remains central to everything we do, so that MedEd continues to deliver high-quality and inclusive teaching for all.
