Behind every successful RAG event is communication and organisation. Gaining event approval and risk management may not stand out as the most thrilling part of RAG events, but it is one of the most important, and I am eager to deliver. I want to make sure our fundraising events are ambitious and enjoyable - but also sustainable and safe.

The Secretary role is about execution and being proactive. I will make sure to prioritise efficient event approval & risk management. By creating clear internal checklists and shared timeline for risk assessments and event proposals, all paperwork can be submitted in good time.This will reduce last-minute stress and protect event quality.

I will work closely with the Treasurer before every major event to align budgets with proposals and ensure financial feasibility from the outset.

Lastly, as someone with vast experience in designing club merchandise, I would ensure that designs are finalised early and costed carefully to maximise funds raised.
