Abbas Schwarz

Hi! I'm Abbas, a second-year Joint Maths and Computing student, and I'd love to be your secretary for next year.

I've really enjoyed Artsoc this year - both the musicals and the community built within it - and I'd love to be a part of the people behind it all. I'd really enjoy helping to run a society that means so much to both me and many others; and as someone with plenty of relevant experience the role of Secretary is one I'm confident I could do well.

As secretary, I pledge to:

• Ensure that the society has one central source for information (about upcoming and past shows and events)
• Continue the work done by the previous secretary on maintaining the gorgeous society social media
• Ensure all members are fully informed about all events with concise, informative newsletters and Instagram updates
• Keep updates across platforms (mailing, Instagram and group-chats) consistent and timed well

I'd love to use my past experience (writing for IC Hack, doing branding work for a charity, and more) to help make Artsoc better for all members.
