Hi guys!
Much like my fellow brown girl, Kamala Harris, I too lost an election recently to an evil blonde man.
Unlike her, however, I’ve spent the last year doing a lot of learning and am prepared to take on the role of being your secretary.
After running Imperial Cup this year, I’ve had a go at doing a bit of everything: whether that’s chasing up teams, turning a neat profit or running the social media. It’s left me with a lot of experience I’m ready to translate to being secretary.
I’m looking forward to collaborating with the next pres and picking things up wherever I can to keep the club running smoothly. It’s important that we keep the momentum we’ve built up this year going, so I’m planning to dedicate a lot of time to learning the Union admin ropes over summer.
One big thing for me is getting all the committee profiles done in the first week or earlier, so we can get our new recruits familiar with everyone.
Another thing is getting a calendar put together for the whole committee. This has been attempted in previous years but I aim to make it stick.

Last but definitely not least, the email.

As far as poetry goes
I think I’ll leave it to Joe
But expect some tea and some commentary
A vague plan, but just so you know :)
