Hello! My name is Yoli and I will be running for Hons Sec. I’m a 3rd year Chem student and play with the lovely L1s. I really want to help make the hockey club a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment for everyone no matter their hockey ability!

Why me?

Former L1s Captain and Finesmaster

• I’m extremely organised and on top of admin
• I’m not afraid to lead a group

I am always trying to help out the hockey club

• found a sponsor to supply all of the Peru tour kit so people didn’t have to worry about the expenses

3 years of experience

• being a veteran at the club I understand what works and what doesn’t and will use this to improve the workings of ICHC

What will I do?

Annual dinner

• I am constantly organising social events, dinners and parties. I will plan ahead to find the best venue that is cost effective too!

Charities

• The club needs to be more involved in fundraising! I have already begun a link between ICHC and Make It Stop an anti knife crime campaign

Fresher integration

• Incorporating social secs, media secs and all of committee to plan a great Fresher’s fair trials and tour so that we keep as many freshers as possible

Support the rest of committee

• My biggest role as Hons sec would be supporting my fellow committee, helping push their ideas, and aid in planning each event so that everyone is getting the most out of it.
