Yoon-Jee Nam

To my most esteemed members of ICHC,

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Yoon-Jee from L1s :)

I'm running for Treasurer hoping to fill the shoes (or should I say goalie kit) of the amazing Ahmed.

So straight to the point, why me?

Believe it or not (and you probably will if you've known me outside of hockey), I am actually a massive spreadsheet LOVER. Will be sure to show you at AGM but I have a spreadsheet of tasks that basically rules my life so you can count on me not to miss anything.

ALSO I've been doing the budget for Balkans tour this year. Ex Fr Narnia (Megan) can attest that I've again been grinding at the spreadsheet to make everything fit into our tight budget, as well as wait hours for a refund from Wizzair.

I must say I never thought I'd say this but I do ChemEng and it has the notorious pipeline of graduates going into finance. While I don't hope to do this when I graduate, I trust the degree (maths and the critical thinking skills I guess) is equipping me with skills to manage money in a trustworthy manner.

I've done my PEEL paragraphs like my English teachers taught me so I hope that's convincing enough for you to vote for meee. (If not, take it up with Mr Allen my GCSE English teacher.)
