Hi, I’m Pugal, a 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering student.

Mech Soc plays a key role in shaping both our academic and social experience, and strong financial management is what makes that possible. I’m running for Treasurer to ensure our finances are clear, disciplined, and built for long term stability.

If elected, I will focus on four priorities:

Transparency – Clear budget allocation and regular financial updates so members know exactly how society funds are used.

Strategic Sponsorship – Working closely with Industry Liaison Officers to strengthen industry partnerships, increase funding, and help keep event prices affordable without compromising financial stability.

Responsible Budgeting – Careful planning to ensure events are financially sustainable and well managed.

Long Term Structure – Creating organised financial systems that support smooth handovers and continued improvement year after year.

As a 2nd Year, I am committed to contributing to the society beyond a single academic year. I want to help build lasting financial stability and ensure continuity for future committees, while remaining approachable and open to feedback throughout the year.

Mechanical Engineering is built on precision, accountability, and forward thinking. I will apply the same mindset to managing society funds to ensure stability, reliability, and steady growth for all members.
