Christian Union: Junior Treasurer

Don't get me wrong. I didn't sign-up for this role because I thought I could be a good Vice President (or "Junior Treaurer" in what it's called here). I, in fact, think I'd make a terrible Vice President, given my frequent indecisiveness and, to an extent, my people-pleasing attitude. However, I've decided to take on this role because after seeing what the LORD has done over the last year, I'm without a doubt confident that He will use not only me, but us all in the CU in our weakness. From the very start of Fresher's Week and seeing all of the new freshers, who are now joining me in being part of this new committee, to October Events, in the Weekend Away, in Carol Service, in all our Skepticals, First Contacts and Flyerings and now recently in Events Week, it's without a doubt that the LORD has been so faithful and working so marvelously, while we have been so faithless at times. So, therefore, I don't stand as Vice President because I'm confident in any of my skills, but rather because I'm confident that "when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Corinth. 12:10), because of His sufficient grace towards me in my weakness. Solid Deo Gloria! To God be the Glory forever and ever. Amen!
