Archery: Equipment Officer

I'm Bella, and I want to be your equipment officer :)

I'll be going into my 3rd year of physics, my 9th year of archery, and my 5th year shooting for GB. I shoot compound, which is very technical, so I've naturally spent a lot of time on my own equipment and have shot at clubs across the country and the world, where I've seen how many different clubs manage theirs. I've been on the committee for a year as treasurer, so I already know how to go through the process of buying equipment, whether it's something of a small or large cost. However, within storage, we already have so much that isn't being used, from trad bows to a club compound and other donated equipment that hasn't been shot in years.

Some things I'd like to focus on are:

- improving club awareness about our existing equipment and pushing the borrowing form that the current committee have worked hard on

- taking inventory and fixing equipment regularly. Also, buying new blocks for targets, if not completed this year.

- giving small tours to people interested in seeing the storage room at any time during the week. It's tough to know what you want to borrow without seeing what's there

- cleaning and organising storage (!?)

and most importantly, collecting feedback from the club about what you'd like to see done next!

Thank you! :D
