Poker is more than a game. It’s maths under pressure. Psychology and mind-games (with drinks if you are so inclined). Friendship forged over bad beats and miraculous rivers. And our society deserves a President who understands that poker isn’t just played at the table - it’s built by the people around it.

That’s why I’m running for President of Poker Society.

My Vision

A society that is: Welcoming to first-timers and terrifying to final tables

1. Bigger, Better Events

• Weekly cash games that actually run smoothly and are co-ordinated across a wide range of blind levels for all wallet sizes 💷

• Inter-university poker nights - because showing other universities that Imperial poker rules is part of the fun

2. A Social Scene Worth Shuffling Up For With

• Pub socials and end-of-term celebrations

3. Transparency & Communication

• Clear schedules, punctual starts

• Active WhatsApp chat with announcements, hand discussions, and no more bots (their annoying advertisements and messages will be promptly deleted and they will be kicked out and banned)

• Listening to members - if you have an idea, it gets heard

Why Me?

Because I:

• Care about the society, not just my VPIP (which at this stage is probably above 80%)

• Believe poker should be fun first, competitive second, and memorable always

I don’t promise you perfect rivers. I do promise effort, organisation and inclusivity.
